The Newcastle 5k in aid of the local school takes place on Sunday 30th January at 12 noon. Over the years this event has grown in stature as many athletes see it as an ideal opportunity to test their fitness at the start of the year. Funds raised by this event will go to the local National School, as such there is a great local level of participation.
